Well the most talked about transfer saga has finally (and mercifully) come to a conclusion. Spanish soccer club Real Madrid have announced on their official website, that they have signed superstar Gareth Bale from Tottenham Hotspurs, for a world record transfer fee of $132 million. Gareth Bale (Cardiff, Wales, 1989) and is a new player of Real Madrid. The white club features one of the best players in the world. It comes from Tottenham Hotspur, where he signed last season 26 goals in 44 matches. He was named best player of the Premier League, where he has impressed with his unstoppable evolution and its immense qualities. Power, speed and technique equally define this total player capable of breaking through the two bands and to score from almost any position, thanks to an excellent left leg and a powerful shot. At age 24, joined the project Carlo Ancelotti to complete an attack of legend. Bale, who many consider to be one of the top three players in the world, will now join arguably the best player in the world, Cristiano Ronaldo, at Madrid to form what may possibly be the most devastating duo the world has ever seen. Earlier in the year, Madrid’s main rivals Barcelona signed another top superstar in Neymar, so this signing is seen as somewhat of rebuttal. This is going to be fun to watch.
