Oh my goodness — the Oregon State Beavers are looking to start a new dance in college football. Today, the Beavers cheerleading squad released a video where they are calling for all Oregon State fans to learn “the chainsaw” dance — apparently the song in the video is going to be played during the break between the 3rd and 4th quarters at each home game.
Learn the dance:
For years the Oregon State Beavers were the other team coming out of Oregon, but not anymore. They may not be in the same class as the 'other' team in Oregon, but they are a solid, talented squad that is going to give whoever they face a serious run for their money.

Complete with lumberjacks, a not-terrible rap remix and the Oregon State cheerleaders, "Chainsaw" is the perfect way to get you pumped for Beavers football.
Welp. The Oregon State cheerleaders have gone and changed the sport of cheerleading for good with the “chainsaw.’ It is innovative, not contrived, rolls off the tongue, and is extremely catchy. Whoever was the director/mastermind behind this new craze needs a raise and a promotion. I’m off to do the chainsaw, y’all.
In all seriousness, what the hell was that?

The Big Lead didn’t like the video, I think it is cute and catchy.
I have never seen a bad looking Oregon cheerleader, be it the Ducks or Beavers.
The all-time leader in career passing yards for the Oregon State Beavers is Derek Anderson, who racked up an astounding 11,249 yards through the air. Over one-third of these yards were accumulated in the 2003 season, when Anderson totaled an OSU single season record of 4,058 yards. To put into perspective how prolific Derek Anderson was during his time as a Beaver, let us consider...

The Beavers’ starting middle linebacker will be Joel Skotte, a true sophomore who played very few snaps on defense in 2012. Isaac Seumalo, the only natural center on the roster, has missed a concerning amount of practice with a banged up knee. Gavin Andrews, offensive tackle, has a case of mono.
