Team Red Bull was going to be in a tough position at the end of 2011 even if they were planning on racing. Driver of the #4 car Kasey Kahne joins Hendrick Motorsports after one year and takes along crew chief Kenny Francis. The other driver who drove for them in 2011, Brian Vickers, is not under contract either. With no drivers and no crew chiefs under contract any potential buyer has to know that they would be faced with an uphill battle.
