The Cincinnati Reds quickly tried to put "Somersaultgate" behind them Wednesday.

Closer Aroldis Chapman did two somersaults after converting the save in the Reds' 4-3 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday, and manager Dusty Baker was not happy with the move.

"That's not how we play it," Baker said.

Baker said he spoke with the Brewers before the Reds' 8-4 loss Wednesday but wouldn't say what was discussed.

"I think that's between us and the Brewers," Baker said. "Ron (Roenicke, the Brewers' manager) was my teammate. He knows me very well. He knows how I am, he knows how I do things. ... Next subject."

Chapman said he'd like to talk about it. But, after meeting with Baker, he declined comment.

Roenicke would not comment on Chapman, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Roenicke indicated that someone from the Reds called him Wednesday morning to apologize.

"I didn't see it," Roenicke said. "They called me and talked about it, and that was good."

Before Tuesday, Chapman in his last seven appearances had gone 0-4 with an 11.37 ERA. In that span he was 2-for-5 in save chances.
