by Chris BurkeFiled under: Redskins, NFL Injuries, NFL Rumors, NFL Training CampRedskins offensive lineman Mike Williams will likely miss the entire 2010 season and his career could be in jeopardy after doctors discovered blood clots near his heart, according to Jason Reid of The Washington Post. Reid cited two people familiar with the situation, who verified that Williams had been hospitalized recently because of the issue. After joining the Redskins last offseason, Williams, who topped out at close to 410 pounds, engaged in a vigorous conditioning program to control his weight. Williams was all the way down 330 pounds at the Redskins' offseason workouts last month, he told Reid. Tony Wyllie, the Redskins senior vice president, declined to comment on Williams' health to Reid. Permalink | Email this | Linking Blogs | Comments
