The Washington Redskins announced that they have signed seventh round picks Jordan Bernstine and Richard Crawford to four-year contracts on Friday. Crawford, a 5-foot-11, 191-pound cornerback from Southern Methodist, was selected with the 213th overall pick in the draft and four spots later, the Redskins selected Bernstine, a 5-foot-11, 205-pound cornerback from Iowa. In two seasons at SMU, Crawford totaled 102 tackles and six interceptions. Bernstine is a bit of a 'tweener, playing cornerback during his first few seasons with the Hawkeyes before moving to strong safety in 2011. Crawford's contract has an estimated value of $2.164 million with a signing bonus of around $64,000, while Bernstine's contract.
