Ed Reed has called out his teammates.

He has called out the Baltimore Ravens offensive line and quarterback Joe Flacco in a radio interview. He was not happy with the team’s performance in Sunday’s Divisional Round game against the Houston Texans.

Reed went as far as to say Flacco was rattled by the Texans defense. He added that Flacco didn’t look like he had a hold on the offense.

Reed went on to say the offensive line gotta block better. They gotta communicate better and gotta pick up blocks and Joe’s gotta get the ball out of his hand.

He is one of a few NFL players that could actually call out his teammates. But to do it publically before the AFC Championship game against the New England Patriots was note a good idea.

According to Ravens Reed, Patriots Should Be Able to ‘Rattle’ Flacco

Baltimore Ravens pro bowl safety Ed Reed commented about his quarterback this week being ‘rattled’ by the Texans defense Sunday afternoon.  Reed commented on SiriusXM NFL Radio Monday that “Joe was kind of rattled a little by (Houston’s) defense.”  He said that, “(The Texans) had a lot of guys in the box on him.  And, I mean, they were getting to him.” Reed continued...

Reed's statements on Flacco are in character

Ed Reed spoke to the media on a national conference call on Thursday. This in itself is not a big deal, except that Reed all week has been the subject of a firestorm regarding some comments he made about his quarterback on Tuesday. Two days later, some guys would have hidden, or declined to answer questions about the flap. Not Reed. Three days before he and the Baltimore Ravens...

Flacco not concerned about Ed Reed’s comments

Joe Flacco, the fourth-year quarterback of the Baltimore Ravens, has a habit of winning. He’s won 44 games in his first four seasons. For those of us that are mathematically challenged (I am), that’s 11 wins a season on average. Tough to beat, huh?Even with all those wins, there are still questions about Flacco. One thing in particular that got attention was from Ed Reed...

Ravens Brush Off Criticism By FS Ed Reed Of QB Joe Flacco

The Baltimore Ravens are doing their best to brush off the media-created firestorm following safety Ed Reed's criticism of quarterback Joe Flacco during a Monday radio interview. Ravens coach John Harbaugh said Wednesday that he spoke to the team and, as far as he and Flacco are concerned, it's no big deal. "I understand where Ed's heart is at," Harbaugh said...

Ravens S Reed says Texans 'rattled' QB Flacco

Ravens safety Ed Reed says Joe Flacco will have to be better if the Ravens are to beat the New England Patriots on Sunday and earn Baltimore's first Super Bowl berth since 2000.

Photo Story: ‘No Respect’ starring Joe Flacco, John Harbaugh, and special guest Rodney Dangerfield

For all of his talent as a passer, and his very good regular season and post season records during his first four years in the NFL, Joe Flacco is not generally considered to be among the upper tier of quarterbacks in the NFL. As good as his won/loss numbers may look, Flacco’s stats suggest to many that the Ravens win in spite of him more than they win because of him, with defense...

Why Are The Baltimore Ravens Letting Joe Flacco Ignore The Secret To Their Success?

BALTIMORE-January 16. – In the second quarter of the Ravens eventual defeat of the visiting Houston Texans it looked as if the Texans rookie head scratcher T.J. Yates was going to do it again. The Texans were moving the ball against one of the greatest defenses of all time and the Ravens offense was sputtering

NFL Playoffs Fantasy Football Recap: Texans vs. Ravens

Houston Texans 13 Baltimore Ravens 20 This is another game that pretty much played out exactly as was predicted. The Ravens play pretty well when at home, while the Texans limped toward the end of the season with three straight losses before pulling out a victory last week against a Bengals team that may have been one of the only other teams in the playoffs with less momentum...

Draft. Resign. Cut. – NFL Playoff Caliber Quarterbacks

The final four quarterbacks left in the NFL playoffs have a clear line dividing them: those that have won a Super Bowl and those who haven’t. For the two that haven’t, Alex Smith and Joe Flacco, each has taken their fair share of criticism. Some is warranted and some of it is not. Obviously we can’t compare these two players to either Tom Brady or Eli Manning. There...
