According to a Wednesday morning report by Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown and offensive coordinator Todd Haley are at odds with one another following a sideline incident that took place Monday night. Bouchette reports that Brown confronted Haley on the sideline and complained about not getting enough passes thrown his way in the game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Haley was wasn't happy about Brown's actions and the two apparently remained unhappy with each one another on Tuesday. The confrontation wasn't caught on any television cameras, but was visible enough on the sideline that a lot of people noticed it, according to Bouchette. In the first half of the Monday night game, Brown was targeted three times and caught two balls for 35 yards. In the second half, the fourth-year receiver was targeted six more times and finished the game with six receptions for 57 yards. If true, this is certainly something that you don't want to hear about this early in the season, but you can bet that both Brown and Haley will be asked about it during the week. Haley has had his run-ins with receivers wanting the ball in the past when he was with the Arizona Cardinals and I am sure that is something all offensive coordinators go through at some point. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger said Tuesday during his radio show that the veterans will be meeting together on Wednesday and hopefully this latest incident is addressed and can be nipped in the bud quickly.
