Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown confronted OC Todd Haley during Monday night’s loss to the Bengals and “angrily complained” he wasn’t getting the ball enough, according to the Pittsburgh Post Gazette.
Brown saw nine targets in the game, only three being in the first half. Brown’s complaint to Haley was harsh enough and the reaction to it along the sideline volatile to the point that many people there noticed, though it somehow escaped being caught on camera.
Emmanuel Sanders got five first-half targets and 10 total, while No. 3 receiver Jerricho Cotchery finished with three receptions for 59 yards and tied Brown with nine passes attempted to him.
Sanders also was targeted more often than Brown in Week 1 against Tennessee, with 12 passes recorded for him; he caught seven for 57 yards.
