Former Baltimore Ravens coach Brian Billick is among the candidates the Philadelphia Eagles have interviewed to fill their head-coaching vacancy, ESPN reported Sunday. The interview took place last Monday, according to the report. Billick is one of eight candidates who have talked with the Eagles since Andy Reid was fired on Dec. 31 after a 4-12 season. One of those was Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly, who said Saturday that he is staying with the Irish. While Reid has moved on to the Kansas City Chiefs as their new head coach, the Eagles' search continues. They are expected to interview Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Jay Gruden on Monday and Indianapolis Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians on Tuesday. Billick last coached in the NFL in 2007. In nine years with the Ravens, he compiled an 80-64 record. His teams reached the postseason four times and won a Super Bowl after the 2000 season. But in Billick's final season, Baltimore finished 5-11.
