Linsanity has finally met Tebow-mania -- sort of.
Knicks breakout star Jeremy Lin and Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow have "connected," according to Adrian Tam, Lin's former chaplain at Harvard.
"They've spoken over the telephone. Jeremy's been a fan of Tebow's for a while, but only recently were they able to connect," Tam told People magazine. "His comment to me was that Tim is a really great guy and that he's very inspired by him."
Lin and Tebow are both devout Christians and in recent weeks have expressed admiration for one another's accomplishments in their respective sports.
Tebow mentioned Lin at the Cartoon Network Hall of Game awards on Monday.
"I've had the pleasure of getting to know him over the last few weeks and what a great guy he is," Tebow told ESPN. "I think he's handling himself great and I think he can take care of himself. And I just say keep being true to him and keep working ...

Anything about Jeremy Lin's contract , or what is his agents driving price after the knicks brief surge in the standings because of him.
An analysis of prices, done by online event ticket aggregator TiqIQ, measured the difference between the average price of a ticket to a Miami Heat home game and the average for a ticket to the home game this week versus the New York Knicks...
This Knicks fan didn't have the coin to spend $42,388 on the Jeremy Lin jersey that was auctioned off for charity (the package also included four tickets to the Knicks-Hawks game a J-Lin meet and greet). And apparently Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony doesn't tickle his fancy anymore. So, instead of going online or even hitting the NYC streets for a Jeremy Lin replica jersey...
The Miami Heat pummeled the New York Knicks, 102-88, Thursday night. Jeremy Lin had his worst game since the beginning of Linsanity, hitting just 1-of-11 shots and turning the ball over eight times.
Lin finished with eight points, six rebounds, three assists and three steals. He also hit all six of his free throws. Chalk it up as one bad night and be thankful that the all-star...
One recurring theme last night was a Miami Heat defenders stealing the ball from the Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin; then driving down the court to throw down a massive slam. Most of the dunks were done with style and grace, except for this one. Norris Cole made a clean steal from Lin, but when he dunked the ball he landed on his side. Lin had to be giggling inside after the dunk.
MIAMI -- The hottest team versus the hottest story.
Linsanity is on its way to Miami, and the Heat can finally say they're eager for the arrival.
It may be the NBA's marquee matchup so far this season, the phenomenon that is New York Knicks guard Jeremy Lin...
Tim Tebow is extraordinarily popular among Broncos fans. They want him on the field, not on the bench. The quarterbacks the team acquires will know that before they arrive at camp.
Things have gotten really interesting in New York lately. The New York Knicks were looking really foolish for waiving Chauncey Billupsbefore the season started but are now looking like geniuses with the emergenceof Jeremy Lin. On top of waiving Billups they were depending on a rookiepoint guard and a second year shooting guard to get them over the hump untilBaron Davis was deemed...
Sudden New York Knicks star Jeremy Lin was brought back to reality when New Jersey Nets point guard Deron Williams took him to school in a recent contest at Madison Square Garden.
At least one person wasn’t booing Kris Humphries at the Garden on Monday night.
Humphries, in an appearance on ESPN Radio yesterday, said he and Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin ran into each other following the Nets’ 100-92 win, and Lin told him the Garden crowd was overly hostile...
