One of the few bright spots for the 2013 Florida Gators was the emergence of cornerback Vernon Hargreaves III. While the rest of the team went through a host of injuries, Hargreaves was a First Team All-SEC and Third Team All-American player as a true freshman. This year, it looks like VH3 has been unable to escape the injury bug. The Gators star was injured during a practice scuffle, according to various reports. Hargreaves appears to be injured. Why is everything so dumb now. — Spencer Hall (@edsbs) August 8, 2014 With Hargreaves out, top two corners appear to be true freshmen – Tabor and Wilson — Robbie Andreu (@RobbieAndreu) August 8, 2014 There’s no word on how long Hargreaves may be out, but he’s one player the Gators can’t afford to miss if they want to rebound from last year’s 4-8 debacle.
