by Chris BurkeFiled under: Redskins, Saints, NFL RumorsThe Redskins are close to finalizing a trade with the New Orleans Saints that would bring two-time Pro Bowl left tackle Jammal Brown to Washington. Jeff Duncan of The Times-Picayune reported on Twitter that the teams had agreed to a deal. In order to complete a trade involving Brown, a restricted free agent, the Saints must first sign Brown to his one-year, $3.6 million tender. Brown may only do that if he's promised a long-term deal by the Redskins prior to the trade being finalized. According to Fox Sports' Jay Glazer, the Saints would receive at least a conditional draft pick from the Redskins. Permalink | Email this | Linking Blogs | Comments
