After some time away from the 30 for 30 reviews, I'm back with one more on the film that will air August 24, "Jordan Rides The Bus." The film focuses on Michael Jordan's time with the Birmingham Barons and it's directed by Ron Shelton. Shelton is most famous for "Bull Durham." As a quick refresher, Michael Jordan left basketball just prior to the start of the 1993-94 season. While he'd just won three titles and a gold medal in the 1992 Olympics, Jordan had also gone through his father's murder. If you're a sports fan in your 20s, you probably know how the rest of the story goes. Jordan goes down to Birmingham, struggles at first, gradually improves and then eventually returns to basketball as baseball headed to a work stoppage. If you're aware of all of those facts, I'm not sure how much you get out of "Jordan Rides The Bus," which is really disappointing. More "spoilery" thoughts after the jump. Don...
