Rick Nash was everywhere for the Rangers on Tuesday. Before he fooled Tuukka Rask to score one of New York’s two shootout goals, Nash had an assist that would make NBA facilitator Steve Nash proud. The former Columbus Blue Jacket weaved his way through three Bruins defenders before dishing the puck to teammate Carl Hagelin while sliding on his chest, setting Hagelin up for the game’s first goal. Check out Nash’s smooth moves in the video above.

Steve Nash seems frustrated with Dwight Howard and his lack of production

Steve Nash played through a number of frustrating seasons with the Phoenix Suns, but he rarely ever said much about it. Nash has always been one of the more quiet players in the league, so when he says something that can be construed as a complaint about a teammate it’s fairly notable. Nash and Dwight Howard, the Los Angeles Lakers’ two biggest offseason acquisitions, have not...

Musings; Rangers attack the Island edition

I am Nash. HEAR ME ROAR It’s Musings day. I’m in Germany as you read this  on a game day, so enjoy. Unfortunately the Islanders game is the first game I’ll not have caught live this year to any extent but I’m sure you’ll all cope without me. The Rangers win in Boston; if that finishes 3-0 then half of Ranger nation will be booking time off to attend the Cup parade. It...

Despite only being about a quarter of a way into this condensed season, the Bruins and Rangers met for the third and final time this season on Tuesday night in another matchup of Eastern Conference powerhouse squads. The Rangers got on the board first 10:37 into the opening period when the Rangers new All-Star forward Rick Nash put forth an outstanding individual effort to create...

Rick Nash shows off some amazing moves en route to Carl Hagelin’s goal

This is the type of play that made the New York Rangers want Rick Nash so badly.  He singlehandedly made this goal possible with his display of sheer athleticism and awesome hands.  All Carl Hagelin had to do was put the puck in the empty net with all of the Boston Bruins defenseman pre-occupied with Nash.  If the Rangers can get their act together in time for the playoffs, they...

Bruins Show They Have Hearts of Champions, Lose in Shootout 4-3

Boston MA. The New York Rangers came in tonight on their second trip to the Garden and their third meeting with the Bruins over the first month of the shortened NHL season. The Rangers were the first to strike as Rick Nash drove through the zone drawing three Bruins and Tuukka. Nash fell to the ground but was able to pass the puck to Carl Hagelin who finished it behind an out of...

Preview: Lakers vs. Suns

The Lakers (24-28) return home after finishing a 4-3 effort in their longest road trip of the season. That road trip started in a shocking 92-86 loss to the Phoenix Suns (17-35), a team that was and still at the bottom of the Western Conference. Needless to say, the purple and gold are looking for some payback tonight. The last 10 days away from Los Angeles didn't go through...

The Clips End The Lakers, And All Doubts

Rick Nash of the New York Rangers with a beautiful assist, dangling through...

Top to Bottom: Best, and Worst, Lakers Performances of the Week

The Lakers finish the week with a record of 2-2. There was an impressive win over the Brooklyn Nets and a great 20 point comeback against the Charlotte Bobcats, but along with that came an old fashioned beat-down by the Boston Celtics and a fourth quarter meltdown that resulted in a loss to the Miami Heat. Here are this week’s top 3 and bottom 3 performers. TOP Photo: EMMANUEL...

Should the Lakers Trade Dwight Howard?

The Los Angeles Lakers’ season has been a failure to this point. After acquiring Steve Nash and Dwight Howard during the summer, the Lakers were slated by many to face off against the defending NBA champion Miami Heat. That has clearly not happened. The Lakers are still unsure if Dwight Howard will re-sign after the [...] [[ This is a content summary only. Visit my website for...

Video: Does Dwight Howard Have a ‘Loser Mentality’?
