One player who was around for the last major change in Austin believes it's time for another transition for the Longhorns. Ricky Williams, who was the Longhorns starting running back when former Texas head coach John Mackovic was fired and current head coach Mack Brown was brought in back in 1998, says it's time for another change for the storied program. "You know, there are times when it's time for a transition," Williams told the USA Today's For the Win on Thursday. "And whether that means the head coach or the coordinator or whatever, something has to change. "When you fight change, things get bad. When you kind of invite the change and enjoy the change, then really cool things can happen."
