With social media so popular these days the world of sports has embraced the new technology, especially boxing, where it seems that Twitter is the place to go and call out fighters these days.
Welterweight contender and three-division champion Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero took to Twitter to call out the undefeated three-division champ Adrien Broner.
The tweet came after a fan suggested the two fighters get it on in the ring, to which Broner tweeted at Guerrero and a classic new has tag was born in the process.
Broner (27-0. 22 KOs) has drawn comparisons to pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr. due to his skill in the ring and his cocky, flashy attitude in and outside of the ring.
Guerrero (31-2-1, 18 KOs) has already tasted what Mayweather has in the ring, losing a lopsided unanimous decision in May, showing that although Guerrero is a talent on the rise, he is far from the elite level of Mayweather.
