Robert Sacre is the most enthusiastic bench player the Los Angeles Lakers have. Fans saw a glimpse of his raw talent and energy on the court as he started in place of Dwight Howard earlier in the season.
According to the Los Angeles Times, the Lakers have assigned Robert Sacre to their affiliate NBA D-League team, the Los Angeles D-Fenders. The 60th pick in the 2012 NBA Draft will be able to get a bulk of minutes while playing for the D-Fenders. He has the length and the strength to become a reasonably good center.
Sacre is definitely a team player. He may not get minutes with Dwight Howard being responsible for the paint and Jordan Hill backing him up, but he is the type of player a team needs. Sacre is the guy that cheers for his teammates from the bench and is an encouraging voice. Every team needs that one guy who is jumping up and down and clapping for everyone else. The game and the sport becomes much more fun with a great attitude.
