PLAYERS: Derrick Rose
TEAMS: Chicago Bulls
Bulls star Derrick Rose expects to return to the court soon. In a video posted Friday on his Facebook page, the point guard says he's been receiving therapy on a daily basis as he recovers from a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee along with two tears in the meniscus cartilage. He says he is ''going to be all right'' and ''should be back there on the court soon.'' Rose was injured late in a playoff-opening win over Philadelphia, and the Bulls bowed out in the first round. Team physician Dr. Brian Cole has said Rose could return around mid-January to early February or miss next season, but how soon he regains the form that made him the 2010-11 MVP remains to be seen.

Could Bynum be the answer to Chicago Bulls Problems?

Could Bynum be the answer to the Bulls Problems? The Chicago Bulls are in basketball purgatory these days. They are losing players like a dog kennel that left it’s door open all night. They are being spurned by elite free-agents as much as pimple laden nerds asking cheerleaders out on prom. Derrick Rose #1 of the Chicago Bulls at the Verizon Center on February 28, 2011 in Washington...

Report: Nazr Mohammed To Sign With Bulls

We can lay the Darko Milicic rumors to rest – the Chicago Bulls have found a back-up center.  Nazr Mohammed, who many thought would be a Brooklyn Net, has decided to sign with the Bulls, according to NY Post’s Peter Vescey. ESPN Chicago later confirmed this report the interest, but not the deal.  The news comes as close to a guarantee as you can get that the team will not...

Can Chicago Bulls Rebuild a Contender Despite Jerry Reinsdorf’s Luxury Tax Aversion?

The top teams in today’s NBA vary in a lot of different ways. Miami, Oklahoma City, and now the Lakers all are centered around the concept of a “big three.” The Spurs are built around a deep and veteran-powered roster. The Clippers are building around their core of two stars. However, they all have one thing in common: they aren’t afraid to pay the luxury tax. That’s...
