Mike Gonzalez has seen a decline in his productivty in recent years. That's probably part of why he did not get a longer deal this offseason. However, Gonzalez did get a deal. According to sources, he has signed with the Milwaukee Brewers.
Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports reports the deal to be a one-year contract.

Gonzalez pitched for the Washington Nationals last season. He posted a solid 3.03 ERA in 47 relief appearances. However, he struggled in 2010 and 2011. In '10, Gonzalez had a 4.01 ERA with Baltimore. In '11, he split time between the Orioles and the Texas Rangers and posted an unsightly 4.39 ERA. Despite the rough patch, Gonzalez has a career 2.94 ERA in 434 games.

The Brewers have agreed to a one-year deal with free-agent left-handed relief pitcher Mike Gonzalez, according to a source.
