Fight News reported Monday night that shopworn legend Roy Jones Jr. has wisely decided against facing “The Celtic Warrior” Bobby Gunn. The 44-year-old Jones (56-8, 40 KOs) was slated to throw fists with the 39-year-old Gunn (21-5-1, 18 KOs) Wednesday at the National Guard Armory in Philadelphia. Jones most recently exited the ring in June 2012 as a split decision victor over Paweł Głażewski.
