Waiting For Next Year:
Shaun Suisham hurt his hamstring this weekend playing in a Steelers loss. As a result, the Steelers have turned to recent Cleveland Browns cast-off Shayne Graham to come in for at least a little while.
The Steelers are the 14th different team that has employed the well-traveled Graham at one point or another over the course of his career. Signing with the Steelers means that all four AFC North teams are now represented on that list.
So at least for now, Graham isn’t an option should Billy Cundiff falter. It’s really not much fun to be a part of the sloppy seconds kicker parade of the AFC North. Thanks to Phil Dawson, the Browns have largely missed out on these shenanigans over the years. Now, they employ Billy Cundiff for the second time after he was dumped by Baltimore for costing them an AFC playoff game. The Browns had Graham into camp who was most notably with the Bengals in the AFC North from 2003-2009.
To think I didn’t think it could feel any worse than when beloved punter Chris Gardocki went to Pittsburgh in 2004 after four years in the orange and brown. If only the Browns could become really, legitimately good, maybe Browns fans could stop caring so much about kickers and punters. To breathe is to dream in Cleveland.

BEST OF MAXIM
If you’ve ever wanted to know the definition of déjà vu, just ask your average Cleveland Browns fan. For the ninth consecutive season, the Browns dropped their season opener in an ugly game any football fan would love to forget, dropping this one 23-10 to the Miami Dolphins. Sure, you can be a typical Browns fan and pin this one on the quarterback, or the coach, or the secondary...

Should an extension not be announced for Pittsburgh Steelers defensive end Ziggy Hood by the time kickoff rolls around, he will most definitely be a restricted free agent following the season.
Last season, Hood started in all 16 contests and matched a career-high with three sacks and set a new single-season career-high with 40 tackles. In addition to that, he tied for the team lead...

The Pittsburgh Steelers decisive 16-9 loss today against the Tennessee Titans is all the proof we need that this team is not the dominating Steelers team we’ve come to know. Mike Tomlin tried to convince the media that last year was just a down year and they would bounce back this season, but that looks highly unlikely after an appalling performance offensively.
To make matters...
The first Sunday of the NFL season was a costly one for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Pro Bowl center Maurkice Pouncey ripped up his right knee and linebacker Larry Foote ruptured his biceps during Pittsburgh's 16-9 home loss to Tennessee, likely sidelining both players for the rest of the season.
''Nobody cares about our problems,'' Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said...
The Cleveland Browns got the first Sunday morning injury watch off to a bad start.
Starting left defensive end Ahtyba Rubin is expected to be out Sunday against the Miami Dolphins NFL Media insider Ian Rapoport reported citing a person informed of the injury.
Rubin was listed as questionable during the week with a calf injury. Billy Winn will likely get the start in his place
The Steelers couldn't get through eight snaps before losing their center and captain, Maurkice Pouncey, on a fluke play during a 16-9 loss.
Troy Polamalu’s 0.3 Second Blitz Sack Was Incredible
Troy Polamalu has been doing this sort of thing for years, but it is always amazing to see it when it happens. Check out Troy timing a snap count perfectly and flying over his defensive line and the offensive line to sack the Titans’ Jake Locker. Pretty amazing
