RB Rankings – Week 13 Trent Richardson has a tasty matchup with a struggling Raiders team this weekend and he should surpass 120 yards from scrimmage for the game with at least one score. I have Richardson ranked in at number four which is the highest I have had him all season. Richardson is a big time talent who has been overshadowed by Doug Martin and surprising rookie Alfred Morris, but should have another solid game this week. I have Beanie Wells ranked in at number 17 this week as he squares off against a Jets defense that has allowed the sixth most fantasy points to opposing running backs. Wells proved last week that he is fully healthy and should find the end zone at least once as long as the Cardinals can keep the Jets honest with their passing attack. I have Frank Gore at number two for this week as he gets a Rams team which may present some problems for CK and will be more susceptible to Gore pounding it over and over. Gore has had an excellent season and should go for 80 ...

Fantasy Football News – Kendall Hunter Lost For The Season

Fantasy Football News - One of the more owned backups in the league was Kendall Hunter. As of this morning, he is now on injured reserve and will miss the remainder of the 2012 season. FFLockerRoom Take - Playing behind Frank Gore had many thinking Hunter would have a shot down the road to start but Gore has been healthy all year minus a few bumps and bruises. That leaves Anthony...

Harbaugh, 49ers juggling more than just quarterbacks?

In the NFL it’s often said that success is contagious.  Once a franchise taps into a winning formula, it’s used until the well runs dry.  This is the case for the San Francisco 49ers and head coach Jim Harbaugh in 2012. As everyone knows quarterback Alex Smith has seemingly been replaced as the Niners starting signal caller by the more elusive Colin Kaepernick.  In doing so...

Week 13 Rush Defense: Charles In Charge

After allowing Beanie Wells into the end zone twice this past weekend, The Rams are officially one of the worst run defenses in the NFL.  Interestingly enough, they face one of the best run defenses in the league this week, The San Francisco 49ers.  Even more interesting is how that game turned out the first time these two teams met.  You may remember their 24-24 tie game from...

Michigan Loser Jay Feely Paying Off His Bet To Beanie Wells

Jay Feely, who once missed three field goals for the Giants in a playoffs game and was ridiculed via Saturday Night Live, is once subjecting him to a public shaming thanks to Ohio State. It seems that Feely, who kicked at Michigan, had a t-shirt and hat bet with Beanie Wells. The key to this bet is that Feely had to change his Twitter avatar to the above display of OSU love. Of...

Weekly Rankings: The One Where Ranking RBs Felt Impossible

So I can easily say I started off fine.  I looked at Trent Richardson and said to myself ‘first!’ and then proceeded with Arian Foster and then Adrian Peterson.  Things were flowing like beer flows like wine.  Then I started looking at matchups and our weekly studs and became a little confounded.  None of the big names really had nice matchups this week and the players who...

In The Backfield: Top 5 Fantasy Running Backs Of Week 13

Week 12 is in the books.  Thankfully is was a bit more predictable than what week 11 was.  With my prediction mojo back on track, I’m happy to give you my top 5 fantasy RB’s of week 13 5.  Jamaal Charles Jamie Squire/Getty Images North America The only reason I’d be hesitant to start Charles this week is because of the inconsistency of carries he’s given.  When he does...

Saints Nation: Defensive and Special Teams Player Grades vs. 49ers

It's kind of sad that the Saints' defense could shut down Frank Gore that well for three and a half quarters and hold an opponent under 400 yards for the first time and still lose... but this is your 2012 Saints. The defense didn't play great, mind you, and that drive in the 3rd quarter that started on the 49ers' five yard line in the 3rd quarter that ended in a 31...
