Russell Wilson to Stay at Rival NC State
Tom O'Brien, NC State Head Coach, said today that Russell Wilson would be playing football for the Wolfpack in 2010. This is big news for Wolfpack fans after an off-season of hoping would not enter the MLB draft.
This may be great news for State fans, but UNC fans would prefer to see him leave after tearing up the Heels the last two year.
In 2009, he completed 20 out of 27 passes for 259 yards and four touchdowns in the rivalry game. UNC did limit his running game. They were able to put him in the negative in rushing yards. He had ran for 50 yards against the Heels in 2008. In that game he threw for 278 yards and two touchdowns.
If Russell Wilson does stay at NC State, I have no reason to believe he will not, the Wolfpack should have a decent team. The UNC vs. NC State rivalry game will be very good once again.
Now let's wait and see if Clemson quarterback Kyle Parker will enter the MLB draft.
