Well…after anxiously awaiting a good SEC vs ACC matchup I find myself shaking my head. Is this really what I was waiting for? Are you kidding me?
The Wolfpack is limited to 133 total yards of offense despite boasting the reigning All ACC QB in Russell Wilson?
A Steve Spurrier coached offense scores a paltry seven points…but only after being gifted with a fumble on the NCSU 14 yard line early in the 1st quarter?
Sure, the Wolfpack had a catchable ball dropped in the endzone there late in the game. But how many times did Wilson throw four yards to a tight end on 3rd and 11? How many times did Tom O’Brien’s team run conservative rushing plays in long yardage situations?
The only time I got fired up watching that game was on the blatant facemask that the SEC officials neglected to call.
All in all…very little football mixed in with alot of ESPN cheerleading for the SEC. Unfortunately, NCSU failed to execute on their own home field…giving ESPN plen...
