Seattle playing the waiting game on the Sonics announcement from NBA We've learned today from KOMO news in Seattle that the vote by the NBA Board of Governors has been pushed back beyond Friday, the league confirmed Tuesday. The news comes as Seattle Mayor McGinn said the city has reached an agreement with Sonics investor Chris Hansen's group over the use of KeyArena as a home for the Sonics, should the team return to the Northwest for the 2013/14 NBA season. The NBA said there will only be one public news conference this week related to the Board of Governors. That is expected to happen Friday afternoon.
