Talking about Ohio State Buckeyes as they relate to the Browns is a really funny thing. It is one of those topics that I generally avoid at all costs. There are some fans that just can’t see past their scarlet glasses enough to realize that the Browns wouldn’t be a good football team with nothing but Buckeyes on the roster. This is especially obnoxious at draft time when Buckeyes fans artificially inflate the draft statuses of any and all Buckeyes from Clarett to Laurinaitis. It has been especially problematic because the Browns have had such high picks pretty consistently since 1999. So what does that mean now that two of the higher profile available players happen to fit potential Browns needs on the defensive side of the ball?
