Against the Atlanta Falcons, the San Francisco 49ers enjoyed a few milestones. Linebacker Patrick Willis(notes) forced two fumbles, the first time a San Francisco player had dome that in a game since Chris Doleman (who actually forced three in a game) in 1998. And the 61-yard completion from quarterback Shaun Hill(notes) to receiver Josh Morgan(notes) was the longest in the careers of both young players. Also, Hill rushed for a career-high 53 yards. Other than that ... well, you'd have to go a long way to fins too many positives to take away from the 45-10 pasting the Falcons put on the Niners. The Singletary-led team had been successful for two reasons -- discipline and defense -- and both factors went right out the window in this particular humiliation. The Matt Ryan(notes)-led Falcons offense was an absolute killing machine, as Ryan went 22 of 32 for 329 yards for two scored and a pick, and receiver Roddy White(notes) caught eight passes for 209 yards and both touchdowns.
