Dallas Cowboys And The NFL:
Falcons coach Mike Smith isn't surprised that Cowboys SS Gerald Sensabaugh will try to play Sunday with his surgically repaired thumb.
Smith was Jacksonville's defensive coordinator when the Jaguars drafted him out of North Carolina in 2005.
"Gerald is one of the toughest guys that I've coached," Smith said in a conference call. "My experience coaching Gerald was you're going to basically have to cut a limb off to keep him off the field. We'll watch the injury report, but I know if there's any way possible, Gerald's going to be out there to compete."
