Jim Monaghan Contributing writer The Red Sox greeted the Texas Rangers with an 19-hit attack in a 17-5 rout at Fenway Park on Tuesday night. Boston got on the board quickly with two runs in the bottom of the first inning on an RBI double by David Ortiz and an RBI groundout by Jarrod Saltalamacchia. Pretty much the entire lineup got into the action as the Sox pounded out eight doubles, one triple, and four home runs including the first career homer for Jackie Bradley Jr. (pictured). Ryan Dempster was the beneficiary of the offensive outburst. He went seven innings in getting the win, his third of the season. Dempster allowed three runs on five hits and one walk while striking out six. The Red Sox scored at least one run in every inning from the first through the seventh. Former Red Sox and current Rangers outfielder David Murphy came on in the ninth to pitch for Texas. Click here to find more by Jim Monaghan on Red Sox Life.
