DALLAS (AP) -- State liquor control authorities say there's evidence a Dallas nightclub was over-serving patrons the night of a fatal crash involving a Dallas Cowboys player. The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission said Friday that it found "sufficient evidence" that Beamers Private Club in Dallas was selling alcohol to someone already intoxicated and "conducting practices" that encouraged excessive drinking. Among the club's patrons was former Cowboys defensive tackle Josh Brent. Authorities say Brent was driving drunk when he crashed Dec. 8 in suburban Dallas, killing practice squad player Jerry Brown. Investigators believe Beamers was the last place Brent stopped before the accident. The nightclub is defending itself. Joe Beamer, human resources manager at Private Dallas, the VIP club inside Beamers, says workers are trained "to sell and serve responsibly." Brent is charged with intoxication manslaughter and faces trial next month.

Report: Church gets free PEEPS after Jolly Rancher accident

Dallas Cowboys safety Barry Church would be wise to stay away from the sweets after a recent visit to the dentist. But he just can't say no to a recent gift. Church needed a root canal earlier this week after chipping his tooth on a Jolly Rancher. The cherry-flavored piece of candy forced him to miss practice at Cowboys training camp on Monday. Following the procedure,...

Dallas Cowboys Larry Allen Talks About Drinking a 40 OZ in Hall of Fame Speech

Larry Allen will always be well loved in Dallas for opening up so many holes for Emmitt Smith and keeping defenders off of Troy Aikman, but the rest of the country might dig this guy for what he shared during his Hall of Fame speech. The 6'3" offensive tackle has always been a big man so its no surprise that on his first date his wife cooked for him. What may be surprising...

CANTON, Ohio -- For newly-inducted Pro Football Hall-of-Famer Larry Allen, it was love at first bite. "She cooked me two chickens, french fries, baked me a cake and gave me a 40-ounce. "I...

Dez Bryant: LeBron James would be a ‘beast’ in NFL

LeBron James has made a pretty nice career for himself, winning back-to-back NBA championships and collecting four regular-season MVPs. DeMarcus Ware saving his legs during training camp

Going into his ninth NFL season, DeMarcus Ware is doing anything he can to make sure he stays healthy during training camp, even if that means not walking, unless he absolutely has to. Ware has been spotted zipping around the Cowboys training camp in Oxnard, Calif. this summer on a Segway, the same two-wheeled device that are used by mall cops around the nation. He takes it from...

Cowboys using Hall of Fame game to work out kinks

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones spent a large portion of the offseason talking about his team's playcalling situation and its highly paid quarterback. He also brought in Monte Kiffin and Rod Marinelli to revamp a defense that has annually been at bottom of the league in takeaways. It will be impossible to make any evaluations on those decisions after Sunday's Hall of Fame game...

Cowboys scrambling as injuries decimate OL

The Dallas Cowboys are suddenly so thin at offensive line, they grabbed a player who lives 10 minutes from training camp in California. Dallas Cowboys Fan Declares Allegiance With HUGE Tattoo

Having never gotten a tattoo I don't know exactly what drives people to get them. A lot of people I do know with them got them in honor of something like a fallen friend, the name of the kid(s), etc. Many have also done so to show the love they have of their favorite sports team. If the size of the tattoo is supposed to say anything (i.e. how much the person loves something...
