Steelers 2012 Mock Draft

Now that all the underclassmen have declared for the 2012 NFL Draft it is time to take a shot a Mock Draft.  Since we do not have the comp picks yet I will stick with a seven round seven pick mock draft.  This will be the first of 5 mock drafts.  The next will be after the Senior Bowl. Mock Draft: (24)- Dont’a Hightower- ILB, Alabama- This is a great pick for the Steelers here.  Either Larry Foote or James Farrior are going to be released.  The other is going to have to take a hefty pay cut.  These two already split time as it is so which ever one is left can split time with Hightower.  Hightower is a thumper.  He is great at shedding blocks and knows how to find the ball carrier.  He is great against the run.  He is also a strong pass rusher.  He was moved to outside backer for Alabama many times to be a pass rusher on long down and distance.  Some people question his coverage ability but just take a peak at the tape from the Florida game to see him run down Chris Rainey wh...
