Jim Wexell from Steel City Insider reports that the Pittsburgh Steelers have also met with University of Pittsburgh guard Lucas Nix at the NFL combine in Indianapolis. The Steelers are allowed 15 minute interviews with 60 players during the week andf it is of no real surprise that the local product caught the Steelers eye. The Steelers will also get to meet with Nix during their pre draft visits as the local college players do not count against their 30 allotted visits by college players.

Troy Polamalu a fast food cook? No, but the Pittsburgh Steelers all-everything strong safety is now in the fast food business, but it is healthy fast food. Polamalu is a part owner in a new restaurant in Palo Alto, California called LYFE Kitchen, and it's a healthy fast food restaurant that was the brain child of Polamalu himself.

One of the topics that Steelers GM Kevin Colbert spoke on, at the media session at the NFL Combine on Thursday was running back Rashard Mendenhall. This is an interesting situation because Mendy (as we in the SteelerNation like to call him) is signed through the 2012 season; after that he’ll be an unrestricted free agent. In 2011, the Ravens only had two receivers (Anquan Boldin and Torrey Smith who were the only receivers to have more than 4 receptions. But neither Boldin nor Smith had more than 57 receptions. If you’re a Ravens fan, these unimpressive...
Casey Hampton's third major knee injury apparently won't stop the Steelers from bringing the veteran nose tackle back next season.
Pittsburgh Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert sounds determined to keep big-play wide receiver Mike Wallace, one of the top restricted free agents in the NFL.
Warren Sapp had one thing right when he called out the Steelers defense after the Week 1 embarrassment in Baltimore: they’re old as hell. The rest of Sapp’s statement, we’ve pretty much forgotten about because…well…who cares what Warren Sapp says.
But the Steelers’ defense could definitely use some Just For Men real fast. There are nine guys who are at least 30 and eight...
