What a mess the BCS is coming, and I love it! Some people are going to try and tell you that this is the exact reason why we need a playoff, and I am going to tell you that this is the best reason we don’t have one.  The importance of winning till the end of the regular season is greater in college football than any other sport

Last week, following their win over Stanford, may believed that we had a shot at a rematch between Oregon and LSU or LSU and Alabama.  Well, scratch the Ducks off the list after getting taken to the woodshed by Kiffikens.

Oklahoma was thought as a team that could overcome an early conference loss, but they crapped the bed against Baylor, as the best player in college football threw a late TD pass to beat the Sooners.

Clemson was looking like the best team the ACC had produced in years, but then realized they were Clemson against NC State.

All of this happened one day after Oklahoma State was tripped up in OT against Iowa State.  What does this all mean?  Alabama getting another shot is very likely, but now all those Boise State supporters are going to jump on the Houston bandwagon, as they remain the only unbeaten along with LSU.  That’s all nice, but the reason these teams are dropping games and not them is because they actually have to get up each week to play someone.

Guess who is sneaking up?  Va Tech.  But Bammer ain’t losing to Auburn. Arkansas vs LSU is probably the clincher next week.
