July 4, 2012, Ryan Suter signed a thirteen year, $98 million contract with the Minnesota Wild, that made him no longer a Nashville Predator. Fans of the Predators have held onto the grudge because his excuse to signing elsewhere was for "family reasons". The Wisconsin native returned to the Music City last season to play one game, where he was booed by 17,113 fans inside Bridgestone Arena everytime he touched the puck. Suter and his teammates both expect the same type of reaction Tuesday night. In morning skate, the Wild collectively booed him just so he could get ready for tonight.  When asked if Suter was phased by the heckling the fans gave him in his return, Minnesota head coach Mike Yeo said, "[He] did fine. I haven't seen too much get to that guy." Nashville head coach Barry Trotz took a different approach this time playing the former-Predator. Last season, he was trying to get the players to not run on their emotions and focus on the Wild, not Suter. This time around, Trotz is jokingly stirring the pot by saying he was our friend, but is now the enemy.  Trotz told 102.5 The Game's Willy Daunic, "Ryan is a big part of our history, but I don't think Section 303 is going let him off the hook. I read the blogs too." After hearing the comments, Suter came out to talk with his former coach. Ryan Suter bumped into Barry Trotz and said, "I thought you liked me," regarding recent public comments. Laughing Trotz said, "I do." (1/2) — Michael Russo (@Russostrib) October 8, 2013
