Even though No. 20 UNC led the fifth-ranked Blue Devils by as many as 16 in the first half and then kept within striking distance until the final minute, the Tar Heels still missed an opportunity to take first place in the league. But UNC doesn't have much time to dwell on the loss to its arch-rival, as the Tar Heels play Clemson, which is fourth in the ACC, today at Littlejohn Coliseum (1 p.m., WRAL).
