Louisville football still on track to set attendance record

Might want to take it a little easy on the 10,391 people who didn’t show up at the University of Louisville-Temple football game Saturday. The weather outlook for the game was dismal, as has been the case with the three most recent home games. Many of the absentees were probably still recovering from the soggy overtime win against Cincinnati. The cold, damp and dreary script gets...

Video: Adrian Bushell Says The Team Is Using Disrespect From National Media As Motivation

Following Louisville’s 45-17 win over Temple, senior cornerback Adrian Bushell talked about a video that was put together and shown to the team prior to the game. This video had clips of national media members not giving Louisville the same amount of respect as the other unbeatens. Bushell says the team uses the lack of respect as motivation. When asked for how he’d respond...

Heisman Watch: Collin Klein & Manti Te'o lead, Teddy Bridgewater gives media something to chew on

Kansas State quarterback Collin Klein has vaulted to the top of the Heisman contenders, surprisingly to some. I ranked Klein 10th on the preseason Dynamic Dozen Heisman Contenders list in which I described him as a "Tim Tebow prototype on the football field"; a comparison coming up often lately in college football talk. I knew that his strong running dual threat ability...

Teddy Bridgewater with five touchdown passes, and Louisville is 9-0

Jeremy Wright breaks loose for a 32-yard jaunt late to Temple’s 4 yard line in the third quarter, setting up Teddy Bridgewater’s fifth touchdown pass of the day, a nine-yarder to Andrell Smith (see video below) two plays later. Wright would rush for 100 yards in Louisville’s 45-17 win.  Click here to view the video on YouTube.

Video: Jeremy Wright Says Being 9-0 Is Great, But Not The Team’s Overall Goal

After Saturday’s win over Temple, Cardinal running back Jeremy Wright talked about the running game getting back on track and also discussed Louisville’s motivation to earn respect on the national level.

Cards still searching for respect at 9-0

The University of Louisville football team is still perfect after nine games but the Cardinals are not getting a ton of respect nationally. U of L coach Charlie Strong is using the respect card as motivation for his team.

If Louisville is playing with a chip on its shoulder, Cardinals coach Charlie Strong has to be pleased with the results. Louisville is the lowest...

Chane Behanan and Kevin Ware update

University of Louisville sophomores Chane Behanan and Kevin Ware were suspended for the Cardinals’ exhibition game against Pikeville on Thursday night. U of L coach Rick Pitino updated the status of both after the game.

A new version of Russdiculous?

University of Louisville men’s basketball coach Rick Pitino said junior Russ Smith has improved drastically in the past week. Smith showed he was more under control and better all-around in an exhibition victory over Pikeville on Thursday.
