Fans Have a Chance to Meet the Nick’s Kids Co-founder, Former Alabama Coach, and Current ESPN Radio Analyst and Former Crimson Tide Quarterback at the Alabama vs. Tennessee Game
Terry Saban, co-founder of the Nick’s Kids Fund, Coach Gene Stallings, national championship-winning coach at the University of Alabama, and Jay Barker, ESPN Radio analyst and former Alabama quarterback, will be at the Travelers Chipping Challenge.
Fans can take part in an interactive experience that includes taking a golf shot at a floating green in the shape of the iconic Travelers red umbrella. The Travelers interactive experience will include an area where fans can have a souvenir picture taken with Jay Barker.
For every hole-in-one, Travelers will donate $500 to the “Nick’s Kids Fund,” Alabama Coach Nick Saban's charity, co-founded with his wife, Terry Saban, which promotes and supports children, family, teacher, and student causes. The current designated beneficiary of Nick’s Kids Fund is “Project 13 for 13,” a project in partnership with Habitat for Humanity to build 13 houses for 13 national championships.
Every fan who scores a hole-in-one will also win an iPod shuffle and the first hole-in-one of the day will be rewarded with a Nick Saban-signed football.
The Chipping Challenge helps Travelers, a leading provider of auto, home and business insurance, share its love of golf with college football fans while supporting a tremendous charity.
