Found October 20, 2013 on Pro Sports Daily:
The Dallas Cowboys are projected to be at least a league-leading $31 million over the salary cap next season. The Cowboys will face what one NFL executive called "a train wreck" in terms of their salary-cap issues. If Dallas is $31 million over the cap it would be $13 million more than the next-closest team the New Orleans Saints. Dallas' messy salary-cap situation got even messier this week when the Cowboys released former Pro Bowl defensive tackle Jay Ratliff who will count for almost $7 million against the cap in 2014.

Jerry Jones: No one's better than Romo in fourth quarter

During an appearance on 105.3 The Fan  in Dallas,  Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was asked to give a prediction on Sunday’s game against the Eagles if they end up down by four points with about two minutes to go in the game. “I’m expecting to win it. We’ve got a quarterback who’s the best in the business in the fourth quarter, he can make it happen when it’s not there...

DeMarcus Ware could play next week

Even though Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Ware was held out of today’s game against the Eagles,  he could end up playing in next week’s match up with the Lions, according to Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com. The Cowboys are keeping Ware out of the lineup more as a precaution. Cowboys owner/general manager Jerry Jones said if this were a playoff game, Ware would play. There...

Dallas Cowboys (Dallas Cowboys Facebook Page) With injuries to DT Jason Hatcher, DE Demarcus Ware, RB’s Demarco Murray and Lance Dunbar the Cowboys are finding themselves wounded in the areas they had great confidence in coming into this season. The defense’s front seven has been solid and strong for the past few years, even through the multitude of coaching changes. Anchored...

Upcoming for the Cowboys and the NFC East

With the victory over the Eagles, the Cowboys sit atop the NFC East all to themselves. More importantly, the Cowboys are now 3-0 in the division, and you have to win your division to get into the playoffs, so the Cowboys are off to a good start in that regard. The defense outperformed expectations and they were clearly the driving force for this road win, but the offense held there...

The Power Behind the Throne

How much impact does Jason Garrett have on the team this season? In an article by Espn Dallas this morning the author places a majority of the credit for Jay Ratliff’s departure straight in the head coaches’ lap. Ratliff, the Cowboys veteran linebacker, was released this week after a whopping 8 seasons with the Cowboys. Although there were mutual disagreements over the...

In an NFC East showdown between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Dallas Cowboys, the Eagles were unable to finish Dallas Week with a victory. The Eagles who have struggled to find ways to win games at home took another loss at the Linc. The Cowboys topped the Eagles 17-3.
