Frank Yallop has resigned as the head coach for the L.A. Galaxy and will be taking over the same spot for the newly re-formed San Jose Earthquakes. There is speculation that Landon Donovan will be joining his former coach upstate as well. Apparently the lead candidate to replace Yallop is Jürgen Klinsmann, the former manager of the German National Team. That would be quite a step down, but since Klinsmann lives in Southern Californian, there's always a possibility.Meanwhile in England, Chris Hutchings has been fired as manager of Wigan following the Lactics 2-0 loss at the JJB to Chelsea. After the first three matches this season, Wigan was top of the table, but have only managed two points out of the last nine matches. In my opinion, the Lactics board did Hutchings a favor.
