The Eagles Perch First Round Mock Draft

Here is my official first attempt at a mock draft. I figure with the draft only a few short weeks away, I better get cracking. Now as we know, the lockout is preventing any trades or free agent signing from happening. This is very restrictive on what will happen at the draft, but we're gonna try to predict it anyway. Carolina Panthers, Cam Newton, QB, Auburn The Panthers need a franchise QB to compete in their division. Whether any QB from this draft will be a franchise QB remains to be seen, as in this draft class there aren't any obvious picks. Cam Newton's upside is too good to pass up. They have to take a shot here. Denver Broncos, Marcell Dareus, DT, Alabama The Broncos need help up front. The teams in their division are smash and dash teams.
