The lesson, as always: The ACC still belongs to Virginia Tech

In an otherwise regrettable preview Friday, I called the Hokies "masters of rope-a-dope," and if I got almost nothing else right, at least I made that overture to the script that actually unfolded this afternoon in the rain: Tech may start slow -- as it always does -- and may look like a complete wreck on offense even in wins, as it did in last week's miracle comeback against Nebraska.
