Back in November, David Stern got his panties in a bunch because Gregg Popovich decided to run his team the way he wants to them run. And by that we mean that he sent Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili and Danny Green back to San Antonio prior to their nationally televised showdown with the Miami Heat to rest.Stern decided as punishment for Popovich doing what he felt best for his team, the Spurs needed to be fined $250,000.Fast forward four months later and we get to Sunday’s game between those same two teams and this time, it’s the Heat resting LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Mario Chalmers. But unlike the Spurs, Miami’s trio were actually at the game and informed the league that James, Wade, and Chalmers were all out with “injuries”.But let’s be honest, Eric Spoelstra just decided to give his trio of players some rest.
