We’re on record saying that the NBA’s anti-flopping rules probably won’t stop flopping. And maybe deep down, the NBA knows that too. But that hasn’t stopped them from trying everything in their power to deter players from flopping. Part of “trying everything in their power” is posting daily updates on NBA.com of the players that have received warnings for flopping. The updates come with description of why the player received a warning and even video evidence of the flopping offense. Minnesota’s J.J. Barea and Cleveland’s Donald Sloan were both given warnings on Nov. 2 and they are the first to have their name etched in flopping lore. So yes, the NBA is going with public embarrassment to help stop flopping. But it still won’t work. The post The NBA will post flopping updates on their website for all to see first appeared on No Guts, No Glory.
