PLAYERS: Limp Bizkit
After being pretty much irrelevant for most of the past decade and change, Fred Durst has decided it’s time for Limp Bizkit to return to the music scene because he “doesn’t like the state the music industry is in.” So what does he do? Well, he signs the band to the “Cash Money Records” record label and enlists Lil’ Wayne to help with the first single off the new album. Makes a whole lot of sense if you ask me. The resulting track, “Ready to Go”, is pretty much just as bad as you’d expect it to be. Don’t get me wrong, the ’90s were fun…but 42-year old Fred Durst needs to stop trying to be cool in 2013.
