The Patriots Make A Trade Deadline Move. The Eagles Stand Pat.

Posted November 02, 2012

The Patriots the former runner ups of last seasons super bowl made a low risk high reward move yesterday with an attempt to sure up their secondary woes by acquiring troubled corner back Aqib Talib from the Buccaneers for an Andy Reid coveted 4th round pick. If the former 1st round pick doesn't work out, they could easily dump him later. If he does then they have made a solid move to strengthen their struggling secondary. The struggling Eagles on the other hand decided not to make any moves on offense, defense, or special teams despite they are in effect struggling in all phases of their games. one more reason why Belecheat has 5 Super Bowl appearances in the same span of Reid having only one. 4th round picks are worth giving up to try to make your team better today, instead of coveting them like they are gold to be used for tomorrow.
