It's that time of the week again. Yep, time to look back at the best and worst of the weekend's goings on in Super Rugby down south. This week's Plays of the Week with Fox Sports is a roller coaster ride of the best bits from Round 2, squeezed into just two minutes. This week we won't be doing a RD Pick of the Week as there were some off-field, personal goings on that needed to be attended to. So while Round 1's compilation of tries went quite well, I hope that we've at least made up for week 2 by bringing you highlights from every game.
Throw in the Plays of the Week from the Australian Rugby Club, and we've had a decent helping of clips from Super Rugby, on a weekend where the Rebels beat the Brumbies, the Crusaders and Hurricanes shared their points, and the champion Bulls got out of jail with a late kick.
There were a few decent hits too, which are included here, and of course there's a cliché check, this week hosted by young Jaco Taute of the Lions, who nailed it.
On another note, big congrats to regular voice over expert Sean Maloney on the birth of his little girl. He told me earlier that all went well, and he's looking forward to finally having some company for the early morning Super Rugby games from South Africa, which can be at 4am for those in Australia! I'm sure he'll be back for the Plays again next week. For now, enjoy.
