We all have those days. When we just don’t have the mentality or energy to get our asses to the gym. It’s a shame really. We develop extravagant excuses to not walk across campus to get our swell on. Everything from its too cold, I’m tired, I have too much work…etc. It’s tough! I know! I’ve been there! So today, I’m going to share the top 3 ways to get yourself psyched up for the gym.(excluding pre-workout sups and music). Here we go. #1) SCREAM You think. I’m kidding? Absolutely not. It’s scientifically proven that screaming helps awaken you senses, and increase your sport performance, the sports science crew tested it out not to long ago. Not only will it make you enormously strong but it will make you feel like Goku from Dragon Ball Z. Give it try. #2) Watch motivational/inspirational clips This is can be a wide range of things. But personally I sometimes watch bad ass movie scenes like Maximus in Gladiator, Achilles vs. Hector in Troy, Wolverine when he pops out of the tub and annihilates everything. Other times I watch deaf people hear for the first time or Arthur’s story a Vietnam vet who became a beast after not being able to walk for years. Or I’ll just look at this grandma below. #3) Remind yourself why you workout This is probably the simplest way to get motivated. Remind yourself why you started to train. The fear of abandoning that goal and the all the hardwork and dedication put into that goal, and I am sure you won’t think twice of getting after it.  A sense of urgency to get better, and improve will drive you anywhere. Now go get after it!
