THE LAST TIME UW BEAT OREGON

nobody knew who justin bieber was

the U.S still had a decent economy

the U.S just started the war in Iraq

i was in grade school

George W. Bush was still in his first term as president

the Florida Marlins were world series champions

TNT actually televised college football

gallon of gas was $1.65

CD players were still around

1948: Oregon & Cal tied for the conference title, conference members voted on who should go to Rose Bowl.. UW had deciding vote and voted Cal, no rose bowl for oregon

1962: game tied 21-21, oregon's Larry Hill leaps into endzone to catch game winning pass, gets tackled by.. UW fans who had rushed the field

1974: UW crushes oregon 66-0

1995: UW coach Jim Lambright lobbies cotton bowl to pick UW over oregon.. oregon got picked and got crushed by colorado, coached by Slick Rick

2002: UW wins in Autzen Stadium, players dance all over our midfield logo

oregon has won 7 in a row againt the huskies, yet husky fans act and talk like they've been beating oregon all these years.  husky fans are some of the most arrogant fans in the country, right up there with ohio state fans

oregon has beaten UW 7 times in a row, but that's not enough still.  oregon needs to beat UW into the ground until they become humble and shut their mouth

its been 2,921 days since UW has beaten oregon, and nothing would be sweeter than to extend that number to over 3,000 days

UW fans want to say they are back, and they almost are, but there's just one last hurdle for them.. beat oregon

this saturday is UW's best chance to do so.  they are at home in what will be a sold out husky stadium, its the last game in husky stadium history and they are honoring their 1991 national championship team

this just also opens the door for oregon to finally humble the UW fan base.  winning the last game in husky stadium history would be forever in their minds, there'd be no way to erase it.

UW wants to win badly, they will be desperate to beat oregon.  oregon can and should beat UW playing its normal game but if oregon can start fast like it did at arizona and colorado, it'd be killer!  if oregon starts fast, UW will be done before you know it.  start fast and husky stadium will go silent, it'd be a "here we go again" thought.

seeing the west endzone full of 15,000 duck fans going crazy would be deflating to the huskies

i have soooo much to say, but my main point is, UW will be fired up and desperate to beat oregon in the last game in husky stadium.

so oregon players, if you're reading this, stick to your win the day approach.  play fast, stay calm and poised, play oregon football.  most importantly though, start fast.  no more sluggish first halves, don't wait till the 2nd half to explode and blow the gates open.  once the ball is kicked off to start the game, that's when you explode.  explode right out of the gates

most of you come from california and texas and florida so you don't understand the hate between UW and Oregon, but this is big.  last game in husky stadium history, they WILL rush the field if they win.  everything oregon has gained on UW the last 20 years will be wiped out in a blur if the huskies win.  this game is important not only for this season and our rose bowl hopes, but for the history between oregon and UW

speaking of the rose bowl, the huskies still mathematically have a chance, do oregon fans a favor and end those mathematical chances.

in the end, OREGON, just beat the damn huskies! the greater the margin the better cause us oregon fans HATE the huskies! there's a reason this week is called HATE WASHINGTON WEEK

GO DUCKS!

HUCK THE FUSKIES!
