If this game did not allow 3rd downs, I think the Giants would have won. (Of course, there is still a little more than a minute left, so I suppose it is technically possible for the Giants to win.) I mean, the Eagles couldn't do anything on offense before third down, so the Giants defense forgot that they had to cause a stop then too. Also, the Giants couldn't convert on third down (or fourth for that matter) if their lives depended on it.Ok, so the fact that they had to convert on third down means they couldn't convert on 1st or 2nd, but still this was ridiculous.The Giants controlled Westbrook. That was their goal, and they managed to do it.And yet, they still lost. Apparently the Giants forgot that there is more to winning than stopping one player.Like I said last week, the 2008 Eagles have the 2007 Giants written all over them, and now I see them winning the whole thing.Next week I will root like crazy for the Cardinals, and then in the Super Bowl I will root fo...
